Disappeared scheduled post

  I wrote two blogs today.

  The first I set as sticky and scheduled to publish at noon.

  The second I set as ordinary and scheduled to publish at noon.

  Both tasks were completed before noon. I used Firefox.

  The sticky blog published on time. The other has just disappeared so I have had to rewrite it.

  Is it a bug that the scheduler can’t cope with publishing two posts at the same instant?

  Also: is there no way to keep sticky posts at the top, not just on the first page?

  Hi there,

  There aren’t any known problems with scheduling two posts for the same time — that shouldn’t cause any problems.

  Did you use the editor at http://wordpress.com/post to create both of those posts? If so, did you see a success message pop up after scheduling each of the posts?

  Thanks for responding to my query.

  Did I use the editor? I think so; I am a novice user. I did it via My Site..Blog posts.. Add in wordpress.com, the only way I know.

  Did I get a confirmation message? Not sure, but I recall seeing the status of both posts as “scheduled” as I was looking out for assurance that this was the case.

  Thank you for those details — those steps you mentioned will help me investigate this, to see if there’s a bug we haven’t uncovered yet. I haven’t been able to reproduce the problem you described, but I’ll keep looking!
