Disappearing posts – whats happening?

  I have just posted a post on my blog. It posted fine and I got the page that shows the post. But then when I moved off this page to do another the post just vanished. It has posted to my outlets eg Twitter/Facebook but is no longer viewable on wordpress. the post was entitled Greylag Goose..
  This happened to me a couple of weeks ago but I just let that one go.

  Am I doing something wrong?

  Hi Pete,

  You mentioned that you moved off the page to do another post. Can you describe exactly how you did that? Did you have another browser tab open with your other post?

  I’m asking because I actually found the draft of your “Greylag Goose” post in the older revisions of your post titled “Whirlpool Galaxy.” You can find that revision by going to Posts > All Posts in your site’s dashboard and clicking the “Edit” link under your “Whirlpool Galaxy” post. In the post editor for that post, in the Publish module, you can look for “Revisions” and click the Browse link next to it. Then, you can go backwards in the revisions to find your other post.

  Please let me know if you’d like more help copying that “Greylag Goose” post into a new post of its own.
