Disconnect Jetpack from a domain that no longer exist
-
Hi,
There has been some time that I have not managed my gkinternational.co.uk site, and when I am trying to access “my site” through my account now, I get the error “Please check your Primary Site’s Jetpack connection”. After logging in to the Jetpack account I stare at a blank screen, since it cannot connect to the domain.
So, it seems I am at a dead end, and I have no access to my site. If you remove the connection of the site from Jetpack, will I be able then to manage my site and uploaded it to another domain?
Best Regards,
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
It looks like there are no active sites at gkinternational.co.uk right now (at least, I don’t see any site when I visit the domain). We can remove the Jetpack connection for you, but doing so will not help you access the site since it wasn’t actually hosted by us.
If you’re looking to access the site, you would need to contact your hosting service provider. A site connected via Jetpack generally means it’s a self-hosted WordPress.org site hosted by a different company. Sites hosted by us are called WordPress.com sites.
There are some differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org. If you aren’t sure about them, please check the following page that explains it: WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org.
We can remove the Jetpack connection if you confirm, but to access the site, you’d want to reach out to the hosting company where you hosted the domain/site.
Feel free to let us know if you have more questions.
