We are looking for a Discussion Board that we could integrate into our website. However, beyond a standard Discussion Board, we are looking for something that can allow for multiple threads and something that could required paid access. We are looking into either having a complete paid access, or partial as well. Any recommendations?

Hey there, I’m aware of several options for discussion boards. We’re using bbPress for this forum, and we use P2 (which is a separate hosted service, also based on WordPress) for our internal discussions.
About paid options, can you clarify whether you’d have some free discussion and some paid, or whether the whole site would be paid-access only? The latter would be pretty simple. Or for partial paywalls, looks like there are solutions and integrations out there if you choose a widely-used option.
Also, I want to point out you can find a list of plugins that are related to forums and discussion boards here. I’d recommend looking at the numbers of active installations and how well-rated and well-supported they are:
