Display Name on this site is still username despite changing it everywhere else

  I have done everything. I don’t know why it is still my username on this specific site, but it is. I have changed it in my profile, I have changed it in gravatar, it shows up here as the name I want, but that site specifically is my username. What gives?

  Since your updated display name is showing up correctly here in the forums and on Gravatar, your global account settings are perfectly configured. The reason it hasn’t updated on ur site is that individual sites maintain their own local user profiles which can override or cache your global info. To fix this, log directly into that specific site’s dashboard, navigate to Users > Profile (or My Profile), look for the ‘Display name publicly as’ dropdown setting, select the preferred name you want to show, and save the changes. If it is already set correctly there, the site is likely running a caching plugin that is serving an old version of the page, which will refresh on its own once the site cache is cleared!

  I keep getting that redirect. I’m not an admin so I can’t access that page. I’ll ask the admins to clear the cache
