display of author of the post

  I can’t visualize the name of the author of the post. I can’t find out how to display the author on the blog. Thanks for your support!

  The author’s name is displayed only if you have more than one published author on the blog.

  Since you’re the only published author, you might want to add a bio page, or a little something about yourself in a sidebar widget, so folks know who you are.

  Thanks for the answer.
  4 extra authors are registered in the blog other than me. Two authors have not yet written anything but two of them have actually posted an article each but their name is not visualized on top of the article. To solve this problem I had to write their name inside the article.
  I have been able to insert a widget with the authors in the side bar but this was not my initial goal.

  Sorry about that, this actually appears to be a limitation in your theme. It doesn’t display the author’s name.

  Most other themes, like Twenty Eleven, do.

  Thanks, I have adopted Twenty Eleven. However this theme doesn’t justify the text… but the name of the author appears at the top of the title

  There are many more themes to choose from. You might find one that matches your desired layout more closely.
