Display photo from old WordPress site still haunting my gmail account

  • Unknown's avatar

Back about 7-8 years ago, I linked my gmail account to a WordPress account for a college honor society and it has haunted me ever since. The display photo shows up to this day and now I can’t access the site to remove it. It’s not even maintained anymore, and as I was the original creator of the WordPress site, I want it gone! Can anyone help? It’s for Sigma Tau Delta at CSUF (https://csufsigmataudelta.wordpress.com/).

  • Hi there,

The only way we can remove content from a site you don’t own is if the site is publishing personal information of you without your consent, or posting content you own without permission, i.e. violating your copyright. In both those cases you’ll need to follow the respective process for reporting the site to our terms of service team, as we cannot help with requests like this in the forums:

    Report a Site

Copyright Infringement – What to Do

If you used to own this site, you can also try regaining access to it using our account recovery process:

    Recover your account

But without some form of verification that you own the site or the content on it we cannot give you access or remove any content from it at your request.
