Displaying authors for posts on multiauthored blog

  Is there any way to display the author for each post given our current theme, or do we need to find a new one?

  Is there an easy way to find out which themes display author names? I’m also hoping, if we switch themes, that the existing content will carry over, with author names visible…

  Some themes do display bylines for author names and some do not. You can change themes to one that does display them if you wish. http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/08/15/author-displayed-or-not/

  In a multi-author blog if you choose a theme that does not display them simply have each author type in their byline as the first line in their posts. Also create a category for their name and have them assign it to every post they publish. More here > Multi-Author WordPress.com Blogs
