Displaying posts by most recent, not by alphabetical.

  My new post has appeared second and I can see that the site has organised them alphabetically and not with the most recent on top. Can someone tell me how I can make the most recent appear at the top of the page? I have a static front page and a separate blog post page.

  WordPress doesn’t display posts alphabetically. I suspect that your post “An alternative to offence…” is a sticky post, and that is why it is displayed at the top.
