Distributing 3 column theme via email

We found a great 3-column template in WordPress that we are trying to distribute via MailChimp. When we upload it to MailChimp, in the preview mode it looks exactly as intended. However, when we send a test email, the content appears in one column as links. MailChimp says it’s a development issue that they are not equipped to address. Does anyone have any idea what’s going on here or how to fix it so that the newsletter appears in its original format in the recipient’s email?

Unfortunately, we won’t be able to provide support for this issue. Since our themes are developed for use on WordPress.com only, we can only support issues that arise from their use on our controlled platform, not on third-party email marketing platforms such as MailChimp.
