"DNS needs to be updated" but i'm locked out
-
Basically I paid for the mapping service last night on my WordPress.com blog before realising that I needed a wordpress.org account. I then went on to delete my wordpress.com blog but my domain name is still pointing to it. I get the error message… “Warning: require_once(/home2/lvngdry/public_html/matthewcowell.co.uk/wp-includes/load.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home2/lvngdry/public_html/matthewcowell.co.uk/wp-load.php on line 42
Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/home2/lvngdry/public_html/matthewcowell.co.uk/wp-includes/load.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php’) in /home2/lvngdry/public_html/matthewcowell.co.uk/wp-load.php on line 42″
When I log onto my account and go into the “My Account” section it says the “DNS needs to be updated” in a large red box. I have looked through the support site but because I have deleted the blog all the options don’t seem to be available to me.

Hi there,
Your domain is no longer pointing to WordPress.com. It’s now pointed to your new WordPress site at your new host, which is where you’re seeing those errors.
You’ll need to contact your new host for more help resolving those errors. (WordPress.com support staff don’t have the tools to help with errors like that on self-hosted sites.) You can also get help in the WordPress.org support forums here:
I went ahead and cancelled and refunded the domain mapping upgrade you purchased here at WordPress.com, since you’re no longer using it. Please let me know if you have any questions about that.
