DNS records

I am trying to enter the A record to link my email to my domain
I followed your instructions, and sent the request to my server, they sent me back this:
To point the mail to our servers you will need to contact the company that is managing your dns and have them create an “A Record for “mail” pointing to the IP Address assigned to your account (173.254.28.137). Once you have saved this change. You will need to make that A record your MX Record. So it will be mail.your domain name. (mail.nickhiggins.co.uk) Priority: 0
So basically you said ask them and they said ask you. So now I don’t know. Please…The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
You can add custom DNS records (for things like email service from another email service provider) by going to Store > My Domains in your dashboard. Next to your domain, you can click “Edit DNS” to get to our Custom DNS Records page, and then enter the A record and MX records there. We have a guide for that here: Add Email
With the two records you mentioned, the format would look like this:
A mail 173.254.28.137
MX 0 mail.nickhiggins.co.uk.However, I noticed that you already have our Email Forwarding service set up. You can’t use our email forwarding if you’re using another email service provider.
Before you add those two new records for your domain, you’ll need to delete the existing records from the Custom DNS Records page. That will make your email forwarding stop working — although you’ll then be able to set up full email service for those email addresses with your new email provider. I just wanted to make sure you knew that before making any changes to your current setup.
Please let me know if I can provide any further help with this. :)
