DNS Records Aren’t Pointing To Your Site
-
My site (http://www.secondstarts.org) has said ‘Jetpack is unable to connect to your domain because your domain’s DNS records aren’t pointing to your site.’ for well over 72 hours now.
I have WordPress name sites pointing to my site and still no change. What steps do I need to take?
I have verified that the DNS NS records for http://www.secondstarts.org are from WordPress.
The SSL certificate is marked pending with following info
There are one or more problems with your DNS configuration that prevent an SSL certificate from being issued:
- This domain does not resolve to WordPress.com. Please update the DNS settings to point to WordPress.com. Note that any recent DNS changes may take a few minutes to take effect.
Also when I try to access the website https://secondstarts.org I get an error saying the certificate is not valid as it seems to be using a certificate for http://biz promo.net
Any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Tyronne

Restoring the default A records resolved the problem. See details below.
Default A Records
The default A records ensure your domain displays your WordPress.com site. To replace the default A records, add a new A record, and the default A records will automatically be replaced.
If your domain is pointed to another host and you want to point it back to WordPress.com, you can restore the default records. You can restore these default A records by either deleting the custom A records or by following these steps:
- In your site’s dashboard, navigate to Upgrades → Domains (or Hosting → Domains if using WP-Admin).
- Select your domain.
- Click on “DNS Records” and then click the “Manage” button.
- Click the three dots at the top of the page.
- Select the “Restore default A records” option from the action menu.
