Do deleted blog posts still get counted in the stats?

  Hello,

  I am recording our weekly stats for our blog and it says we have posted 119 posts, but when I’ve looked back at our figures it should say we’ve posted 118. I published a post by accident yesterday instead of clicking the save draft button, I then deleted the post from our page. Would the deleted post have been counted in the number of posts publish statistics?

  It should be removed from the total number of published posts immediately after deletion. The stats have always reflected deletions immediately for me on WordPress.com websites, but I’m not familiar with the new stats page, which might work differently.
