Do I have to pay to upload a video on my blog?
-
Since April I made a payment for ‘no-ads’. Now I want to upload a video. Do I have to pay extra for this service?
If I make a payment for the premium version (including no ads and video) I have to pay 60 euro / year. But I already payed for half a year no ads service. Can I directly upload a mp4 video on my blog or do I first have to upload this video on vimeo, you tube, ….?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Uploading videos directly to your site requires the VideoPress upgrade, which is part of the WordPress.com Premium plan. The 60 euros/year that you’re seeing is actually a discounted rate for that Premium plan, since you already have the No Ads upgrade. (The Premium plan is normally 80 euros/year.)
If you’d rather not get that plan, you can still embed videos on your site by uploading it to another service (like Vimeo or YouTube) and then adding the video to your site.
Please let me know if you have any questions about that. :)
