do i need to change my blog to .org from .com to get plugins and monetize?

  I originally developed my blog on WordPress.com. . I am signed up with Hostgator. How can i add plugins and other things to monetize my blog if I am on wordpress.com? How do i change it?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)
