Do I need to have a host for wordpress.com?
-
I am new to wordpress. Just set up my wordpress.com site a week ago and is having problem now.
Know that the support team is out of office and I have gone thru a lot of the forum discussions topics but cannot find an issue similar to mine. When I set up wordpress.com, I have also signed up with the Dreamhost services which is recommended by wordpress for a “.com” website. I have not done anything to the “.com” website, so far I’ve only done up the wordpress.com blog.
Few days ago, I decided to change the hosting service provider so I disconnect the service with Dreamhost.
But I thought that my wordpress.com will still operate as normal as wordpress.com provide free hosting as well based on my understanding. But, over the past few days I have not been able to log onto my wordpress.com for admin / posting etc.
How do I fix this? I don’t have any IT knowledge so will appreciate a more detail explanation. I don’t mind paying wordpress for hosting if it is not a free service, I just need to have admin access into my wordpress.com again.
Any help or assistance is greatly appreciated.

WordPress.COM is a host.
If you created the blog from the account you are logged into to post here, you should be able to go to your blog by clicking on your name in the upper right corner of the screen as displayed in the top gray bar.
This is also the log-in for your site: http://funfinancialeducation.wordpress.com/wp-login.php if you are still having trouble.

Thanks very much for your help.
I think there’s a problem with my existing computer, when I try to log in from the ipad.
