Do I need to pay for hosting on WordPress.com?

    Currently, Im planning on getting WordPress.com premium plan which will cost $96/year. So I was wondering if there would be any additional charges ie domain name, and hosting etc

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

    Hosting on WordPress.com is free forever with unlimited bandwidth, unlimited storage for text content, and 3GB storage for media files.

    When you buy a plan you’re only paying for the extra features listed on the Pricing page and at My Site ->Plans. These features include mapping, transferring or registering one domain name.

    @kokkieh, But when I was looking at the plans I saw that the hosting storage is 13GB. Can you confirm?

    The Premium Plan gives you 10GB media storage on top of the 3GB you get for free, giving a total of 13GB. This is only storage for media files, for example, images, videos, audio and documents.

    The storage for your actual site is unlimited, in other words, there is no limit on the number of posts and pages you can publish on your site. That is true even of free sites.
