  how to not display comments publicly

  Hi there,

  If you’d like to review all comments before they are displayed publicly, you can adjust your Discussion Settings under Settings > Discussion in your site’s dashboard. Next to Before a comment appears you can choose “Comment must be manually approved.” That way, comments will never be shown publicly unless you approve them.

  If you never want comments to be shown publicly, you might want to disable comments and use a Contact Form instead. That way, people can contact you using that form and their comments will be sent to you privately.
