    Does having my blog on wordpress give the “hits” to wordpress rather than me?

    I am creating a blog for my Mom who has started publishing ebooks on Amazon. She is very concerned that utilizing wordpress will give wordpress the credit for the “hits” and not her.

    The purpose of her blog and website is of course to market herself as an author. We did get a dedicated domain. carolbellhouse.com

    Any advice or direction you can give me about this concern is appreciated.
