Does the free domain get cancelled with a refund of the premium account?

    If I get a refund on my premium account and have a domain with the account that was included with the price, does the domain get cancelled or do I need to transfer the domain before the refund?

    Hi there,

    I’d be happy to refund your WordPress.com Premium upgrade for you. Since you’ve used it to register a domain name, there are two ways we can proceed:

    1) I can refund your entire Premium purchase, including your domain candkanimalremoval.com. This will lead to a total refund of $99. Your domain will become unavailable for several weeks; after this period, anyone may purchase the domain name. If you’d like a complete refund, and are okay with the prospect of potentially losing candkanimalremoval.com, this is the way you’ll want to proceed.

    2) If you want to keep your domain, I can refund your Premium purchase, less the domain registration fee. This will lead to a total refund of $73. You will be able to continue to use your domain name, candkanimalremoval.com, or you can transfer it to use with another service elsewhere.
