Does the premium package merge with previously bought upgrades like a domain?

  I bought a domain for my blog a few months ago. Now I’m thinking of buying the premium package, which includes a custom domain. Will the domain purchase be merged with the premium package? Or will I still need to pay for each separately?

  Hi there, since you already have a domain registered through us, you can purchase WordPress.com Premium at the discounted price of $79:

  Your domain registration will automatically be connected to the bundle and extended by a year, so its new expiry will be April 10, 2015.

  Is there some way to join the 2 (domain and premium pkg) so I am just making 1 payment each year?

  Hi there, subsequent renewals of the package would be at the regular price of $99 per year, and would include your domain renewal.

  Let’s say you purchased the package today – your domain registration would be extended for a year, and its new expiry date would be April 10, 2015.

  The bundle would be up for renewal June 13, 2014, and would cost $99. Renewing it at that point would extend the bundle until June 13, 2015, and your domain would be renewed for another year, through April 10, 2016.
