does wordpress.com take the $300 as i subscribe for the plan?

  does wordpress.com take the $300 as soon as I subscribe or is it after 1 year.
  say i subscribe today 17/12/2018. Will wordpress take the $300 today or after a year ( 11 months if i read it correctly) thanks a lot.
