Does WordPress.com support staging and production servers?

  Does WordPress.com support staging and production servers? We would like to keep our development and testing private until we release to production. How is this accomplished via WordPress.com hosted site? Thank you for your help.

  That is not functionality that WordPress.com offers.

  Thanks for your response. Can you tell me what are recommended best practices for beta testing a new site (or a new feature for an existing site) before making the site (or feature) public? Thanks again for all your help.

  Best practices on WordPress.com are mostly limited to draft posts/pages. Though it would be possible for you to set up a duplicate WordPress.com site that was only viewable to a specific set of people.

  But to be honest, I suspect that you are looking for functionality that would be better served by a traditional webhost.
