Does www. getfreeebooks.com infect WordPress with SPAM?

  I have good evidence that my website is receiving a vast amount of SPAM from getfreeebooks.com. The number of referrals is huge for a freebooks library with such a low Alexa rating. An individual book will be downloaded day after day in large numbers. Then, when I remove the link. attention will switch to another book.
  My impression is that the spam is being generated manually and much of it comes from India.
  The effect is to corrupt my site stats to the point where they are useless.
  I suspect that I am not the only person to suffer in this way.
  I urge you to do a check and see if my suspicions are well founded.
  Can anything be done to put an end to this sort of activity?

  PS Alexa reports that getfreeebooks.com is based in USA and owned by an unspecified entity in Malaysia.

  I went to this page: http://www.getfreeebooks.com/?p=4640 and found that your site was a link on that page for the book Mike’s Japan as seen here:

  http://www.getfreeebooks.com/?p=4640

  If that is not your doing, please contact getfreeebooks.com and get it removed. Your site stats do not appear corrupted in anyway as readers are being referred from that site. If you do not want referrers from getfreeebooks.com I recommend removing your site link from there.
