Does yearly billing mean every 11 months instead of 12?
-
I had not yet decided if I wanted to continue with my blog or change the direction and I thought I had a month to make that decision. However, I was billed a month earlier than I was supposed to be billed which only gives me 11 months of service instead of 12. I read a similar issue in the forum and the reason given was that auto-billing attempts to bill a month early. My question is. If I was billed in August last year and in July this year, doesn’t that mean that next year I will be billed in June thus cheating me out of yet another month?

Hi there!
I’m sorry for the confusion. Please note that the 30 day advance billing is done in case there is an issue with the card. Sometimes new cards are needed so we like to do this in advance so upgrades that are time-sensitive like domains are not lost. However, this in no way means that you only get 11 months. the expiration date is a month after so you get the full 12 months.
As seen, you were charged on 7/5/2014 but the expiration date is 8/4/2015.
You originally purchased this upgrade on 8/4/2013.
Let me know if you have any questions with this!
