  I signed up with one url given to me with the wordpress name in it. I do not mind the WordPress name being in the domain, however i need to change the name of the domain.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  To change a blog URL ending in wordpress.com, please follow these steps. Another alternative is to purchase a custom domain name to take “wordpress” out of the domain altogether.

  Or if the blog is new and you re just starting – just get a new blog with the same account and use the old one for practice – set it to Private if you want

  You can get a new blog from the Manage My Blogs section of your Dashboard – or mouse over your name in upper gray nav bar on the right side
