  I want to purchase and register “www.tysonpeveto.com” for my blog. On a previous blog, I’ve purchased a domain name but all it did was redirect to the http://www.example.wordpress.com domain. I want the “www.tysonpeveto.com” name to be in the address that shows up in the address bar. Also, I wouldn’t mind if any previously posted links on facebook, twitter, etc., using my “www.tysonpeveto.wordpress.com” domain would correctly redirect. Can you help me make sure I do this correctly? Thanks.

  Hi there, you can register the domain you want by following our instructions on registering a new domain.

  After you buy your custom domain, to get in showing in the address bar, just set it as your primary domain under Store > Domains. All old links to tysonpeveto.wordpress.com will continue to work, and will be automatically redirected to your new domain.
