    Currently, my website ends with .wordpress.com, if I was to buy a .com domain, will people still be able to access my site if they type in the name with .wordpress.com even though it is now at .com?

    Correct account: Yes

    Hi there,

    Yes if you assign a custom address to your site (one without “wordpress.com” in the URL) then we will automatically redirect your original wordpress.com address to it, so no traffic is lost.
