    Hi there,

    It is not possible to connect a custom domain to a free WordPress.com site (to replace the “wordpress.com address with your own” but you can do that by upgrading to any of the plans shown here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/

    All of the plans listed there include the ability to connect a custom address to your site. If you do not have a domain a new one is included for the first year. If you already have a domain you can transfer it here for free, and once it’s under your account here we will add one free year to the registration.
