  Hello, I have a domain and website at GoDaddy.
  Can I use that domain for my WordPress website?
  I think I have to ‘turn off’ that website at GoDaddy, right?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You will need to set up Domain Mapping to use your domain with your WordPress.com site:

  http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

  Domain Mapping is included with all of the WordPress.com Plans:

  https://wordpress.com/pricing/

  Once you have your WordPress.com site set up and your domain correctly mapped, you would not need your GoDaddy hosting package any longer. Though you would still need to keep your domain registration through GoDaddy.

  I found it actually costs $13 to do domain mapping, I thought it was free?
  So this will be extra even if I enroll in premium plan?

  Domain Mapping has always been a paid upgrade on WordPress.com.

  No. Domain mapping is included in all WordPress.com plans (Personal, Premium, and Business).
