    Hi, I have a domain I purchased and want to map it, when I try to it says I can do it for 17$ per year but then I click forward and it says its $10 per month? just confused, I don’t want to upgrade I just want to map by domain.

    Hi there,

    It costs AU$17 to add additional domain mapping upgrades after you’ve already added the first as part of a plan. But the first domain mapping can only be added as part of a plan. See the first section of this page:

    If you’re seeing the AU$17 price listed if you go to My Site ->Domains, it because you already have plan added to your cart at https://wordpress.com/checkout/

    If you don’t want the Premium Plan, first go to the checkout link and remove the plan from your cart there. Next go to My Site ->Plans and add the cheaper Personal Plan. After purchasing the plan, then go to My Site ->Domains to claim the free domain in the plan and add the domain mapping.
