Domain

Hi, I recently started the process of switching from wordpress.com to BlueHost and thought I was doing the right thing by cancelling my domain here instead of updating the nameservers which… well, I was being dumb. My domain was curiositydivided.com and any advice or assistance you can provide will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Hi univarn,
I can restore the domain for you — but there is only a short window in which I am able to do so. You haven’t been refunded for the domain costs yet so there will be no additional charges. Once the domain has been restored, you can then transfer it to Bluehost.
However, please be aware that It is only possible to transfer a domain 60 days after the registration date. This 60 day lock is required by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) and cannot be waived. Until the domain is ready for transfer, it can be pointed to your new site.
As you cancelled the domain so soon after registration, it should be released in around 5 business days. This is the riskier option as there is no guarantee you will be the first to register it.
Let me know which option you would prefer and if you have any questions.

Hi univarn,
Thanks for confirming. I’ve restored the domain to your account and it can be managed on your Domains page:
https://wordpress.com/domains/manage/
Until the domain is ready to transfer, it can be pointed to your Bluehost site using these steps:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/change-name-servers/
Come back to if you need any further help.
