Domain

I have been continually referred back and forth from WordPress.com to Wildwest Domains to actually get my domain. I started with a WordPress.com site and am now using wordpress.org and and my domain has expired. The process to correctly transfer the domain has been very frustrating. Please advise an easy way to do this. It woule be nice to have a direct contact rather than a forum.

  • Ho there,

Your domain, cinisminiworld.com, expired on 6 September and has since been removed from our system. It is now in redemption with our registrar. I can still get it back for you, but our registrar charges a $80 fee to restore a domain from redemption. Please let me know if you agree to that fee and I can get the process started for you.

Who at WordPress.com referred you to Wild West Domains? The last ticket I can see in your support history was in July when you asked us for help in pointing your domain to Bluehost by changing the name servers. However, that does not transfer the registration itself away from us, and you still needed to renew the domain with us before it expired in September.

Yes, please start the process. Thanks.

  • Thank you for confirming. I’ve sent you a payment link via email. Once we receive your payment I can contact our registrar to restore the domain, and then it should be working again within 48 hours.

  • We’ve received your payment, thank you. I’ve emailed our registrar to restore your domain. I’ll let you know once I hear back from them.

  • Our registrar has restored your domain and I’ve reactivated it on your account. It’s already showing your Bluehost site again, but you might need to clear your browser cache before it will work for you.

Please let me know if I can help with anything else.
