  I cancelled my subscription and ownership of my domain. But now want ownership of the domain again. Am I able to get it back?

  Hi there,

  I can try and restore your domain before it fully expires (in about 5 days). For that, I have already emailed you a payment request for $26. Please reply back here when you have completed the payment so that I can restore the domain.

  Hi. Thanks. Just before I go ahead and pay for it. Can i check that I will then own the domain and can use it with another provider other than WordPress please?

  Hi gcseworld1,

  You will be the owner of the domain once it has been restored back to your account. Newly registered domains cannot be transferred to another registrar for the first 60 days — this 60 day lock is required by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN).

  However, it can be pointed to another host until those 60 days have passed. If this is something you would like to do, I can send more information once the domain has been restored.
