  Hi,
  I’ve recently just created a blog page and paid for a domain, only I didn’t realised I was logged into a different word account from a friends business rather than this one. Is there a way I can transfer that to this one at all? I’ve tried but it says that domain is associated with another WordPress account.

  Hi there,

  It’s possible to transfer the domain, yes, but only the account that currently owns the domain can do that.

  Please log into the account that you’d used to register the domain, or if it’s someone else’s account, please ask them to follow these steps to transfer the domain to your account:

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/transfer-a-domain-to-another-wordpress-com-account/

  Once the domain has been transferred, then follow these steps to transfer ownership of the WordPress.com site itself – this will also transfer the plan you bought for the site, and remove the other user as an admin from the site:
