  I just canceled my WordPress account and decided to go use gatorhost. Am I still able to use the same domain I set up with WordPress?

  Hi there,

  If you’re speaking of drewwolford.com, then no, as you no longer own it. Cancelled domains are not released immediately, and it can take anything from a few days to over a year before a cancelled domain becomes available again, if at all. You should never cancel a domain that you still want to use, as there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to use it again somewhere else in future.

  In this case the domain should be released by early next week, at which point you’ll be able to register it somewhere else.
