  I already have purchased a Domain name. I want to build a site with word press and host it on Flywheel. Can I build the site without going through the domain mapping and add the domain later.

  Hi there,

  If you want to host the site on Flywheel, then you need to contact them for their process for connecting the domain. This would depend on whether or not they provide a staging domain for sites hosted on their servers.

  A WordPress.com domain mapping upgrade is only required if you want to use the domain with a site hosted on WordPress.com.
