  Do we need to enter a domain while creating a website? Do we need to pay for it!

  You can build a free site with a free site address on WordPress.com. If you want to use a custom domain then you do need to pay for an upgraded plan.

  The plans are outlined here: https://wordpress.com/pricing/

  They’ll include the features shown, plus your domain, and your hosting for one year. Each year that plan gets renewed and the domain registration as well.
