  I am with godaddy right now. I need to keep my godaddy up for awhile so i can build my site. How can i make this work??

  If you currently have a WordPress site with GoDaddy then you can export your site from GoDaddy and then import your site into wordpress.com.

  You can find import information here.
  You can find export information here.

  Once you have it moved over you can then map your domain from GoDaddy to WordPress.com

  Yes :) This is a very common question. Go ahead and build your new site on WordPress.com. Import your content, customize the theme, get it all ready to launch.

  Keeping the new site private will help prevent any SEO confusion since you’re going to have the same content on two different addresses.

  There’s 2 ways to connect the domain. Either will work fine.
