  Hi there,

  All sites created on WordPress.com get a free WordPress.com or .blog subdomain that’s yours to use for as long as you want.

  If you instead want a custom domain, that is only available if you upgrade to a paid plan. Each plan includes one domain registration for free for the first year only. From the second year onwards, renewing the domain costs extra.
