  I already purchased a domain name from Bluehost. Do I need to transfer? I have already been billed.

  Hi there,

  To use that domain on WordPress.com will require that you upgrade to one of our paid plans. Then you can either leave the domain registered with Bluehost and just connect it here via our domain mapping upgrade:

  Or you can transfer it to us completely, provided you’ve owned it for at least 60 days. One domain transfer is included for free with every plan, and the process will also renew your domain for an additional year.
