  I have recently purchased a Domain name.I am with Weebly but have not registered my domain with them yet as I am unhappy with the service..If I start a site here can I just give the domain name without havibg to transfer services,etc

  What you can do is set up a free site here. That way you know that it’s something you enjoy and will work for the project. Once you feel comfortable with it, connect the domain. Learn more about getting started here: https://learn.wordpress.com/

  We have 2 options for that.

  1. mapping: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
  2. transfer: https://en.support.wordpress.com/incoming-domain-transfer/
