  Hi,

  I just registered a new domain irinie-Rainbowworks.live with GoDaddy yesterday and want to use it for my wordpress site, if I transfer it to wordpress, can I transfer the domain to wordpress without losing ownership?

  Hi there, new domain registrations are locked from being transferred to another registrar for 60 days. This is an ICANN ruling and can’t be changed.

  Until that time, you can change your domain DNS settings to point to your WPcom website. You will need to upgrade your WPcom site to at least the Personal plan in order to map and then use your custom domain here.
