  Hello,
  I paid for my domain name a couple days ago and I am still waiting on the email stating it is active. I am a full time university student who is trying to create a website for school and I have a deadline. Any info or help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  Hi @chelseblyth, our domains are typically set up right when you make the purchase, and while it can take a few hours for your computer to recognize that, it’s usually quite quick.

  Could you send us the domain so we can check on that for you? I don’t see any purchases on this account, so if you used a different account to purchase it, please log out and log back in as that user.

  The domain name is iamhero.ca

  I originally used a link from my teacher (https://www.siteground.com/studentshosting.htm) to receive the student discount, however when I entered my email it said that I already had an account and to login. I clicked that link and logged in.

  So to be perfectly honest, I do not know where or what account the domain was purchased under.

  When I went to wordpress.org/admin to then try and login, it said that my email did not exist. So I tried wordpress.com/admin and then it worked.

  I am wanting to use wordpress.org with siteground.

  That’s not a registered domain name.

  Since you paid to register it through SiteGround, I recommend contacting them: https://www.siteground.com/company#contactus

  Well of course it is not registered.. that is my problem. I will contact siteground I guess. Thanks.
