    I cancelled my subscription with domain and bought it at another hosting service. It is still registered at wordpress.com. How long does it take to cancel the domain and allow me to register at the new site?

    Hi there,

    I can confirm you cancelled your WordPress.com Premium Plan and included domain uncommoncentsfinance.com on 01-23-2021, and a refund has been processed. See: https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/billing/

    When a domain is cancelled, there is a 5 day “grace period” where it does not go on sale right away. Since you cancelled on the 23rd, you are part way through that period, and in a few days you will be able to purchase you domain again with any company that sells domains to the public.
