  Hey there, the website has the wrong domain and I’m trying to update it but I don’t know how

  Hi there,

  Your site used to have the WordPress.com Business plan which expired. You’ll need to upgrade the site to the Business plan first. You can do that by going to https://wordpress.com/plans

  After upgrading to the Business plan, you can do one of the following:

  1. If you don’t already own the domain elsewhere, register a new domain: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/register-domain/
  2. If you already own the desired domain elsewhere, map the domain: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/map-existing-domain/

  Once you’ve done one of the above, follow the instructions here to set the new domain as primary: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/#set-a-primary-address

  After that, the site will start loading at the new primary domain.
