    Hi –

    I’m thinking about paying for a WordPress.com subscription to remove the WP branding from this website.

    I wanted to check if this requires us to move to using a custom domain and, if we do, will the mikewilsoncelebration.wordpress.com domain still work for the site? The reason I ask is that we will probably downgrade to a free WP.com version again in future, and I don’t want to have to change the domain back to mikewilsoncelebration.wordpress.com once we do – I’d prefer people to be able to use the same domain – mikewilsoncelebration.wordpress.com – consistently.

    Can you please advise?

    The WordPress.com domain will continue to work, think of the custom domain as being applied on top of it, not replacing it.
