    Hey,

Deleted domains don’t directly go to public registry. There is a cooling off period. You may have to wait for sometime to buy it again.

    Hello there,

Hope all is well with you!

Thank you for reaching out to us and I am sorry to hear that you have decided to leave WordPress.com.

I understand that you have already cancelled your domain with WordPress.com and you wish to purchase a new one with SiteGround.

Kindly note that, it will take a few weeks for a domain to be available and released back for you to register the domain again after cancellation.

I am tagging a staff member to be in touch with you to confirm your domain status.

    Stay safe.

    Max.

  • Hello there,

I can see the domain deinvermoegensberater.com is active on the account, which is good news.

You can transfer the domain as per these instructions here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/move-domain/transfer-domain-registration/ – after 60 days of registration.

Within that 60 days, it’s possible to use the domain with another provider via the user of custom DNS settings. https://wordpress.com/support/domains/custom-dns/

We wouldn’t recommend deleting a domain, with a view of registering it elsewhere, mainly because it might not even be possible. When it is possible, it could take several weeks to complete fully.

    I hope this helps.
