  Hi, I would like to change my registered domain. Do I have to delete my current domain magdalenelow.com first? If so, how do I go about doing it?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You do not have to cancel your old domain if you do not wish to do so.

  To add a domain, simply log into your WordPress.com site’s dashboard, click on Store–>Domains, click “register a new domain name”, enter the new domain you wish to register in the box and click the “go” button. Then just follow the instructions that appear to register your domain.

  If I do not cancel my old .com domain and register a new one, I would have to pay for using another .com domain?

  What I would like to do is….instead of using magdalenelow.com, I would like to use pianolessonsblog.com. How do I go about changing the URL of my blog to pianolessonsblog.com?

  I can absolutely help you with that.

  Just to clarify, if you want to cancel your domain magdalenelow.com it can take up to several weeks for our domain registrar to release the domain, and it may not choose to do so. We can’t guarantee that your domain will ever be available to you again once canceled. If you have any intention of using magdalenelow.com again in the future, I suggest that you do not choose to cancel.

  Please confirm that you understand and want to cancel your domain. Once you have done so, I will cancel it and remove the upgrade from your account and reset the domain credit on your WordPress.com Premium trial.

  Hi, with the cancellation of my previous domain magdalenelow.com, I tried to register a new domain, but was given a message “Error validating domain credit” when trying to set up the new domain. What do I do?
